World’s 50 Best Bars Extended List Released; This New Delhi Bar Makes The Cut

The prestigious rankings list of the World’s 50 Best Bars released an extended list featuring bars from the 51-100 ranks for the year 2025. Curating a collection of bars from 34 different cities worldwide, New Delhi’s Lair made it to the list, ranking at the 96th position. The bar, which also won accolades for being the best bar in Asia earlier this year, is the only Indian bar to feature on the list ahead of the official event, all set to take place in Hong Kong on the 8th of October. The ranking system, which is based on a compiled list of votes from over 800 industry experts, will be celebrating the finest cocktail experiences at the event, of which world-renowned bartenders, drinks writers, cocktail specialists and educators will be part.

The ranking - which spotlights creativity, passion and unique experiences in the mixology space - is also meant to shine light on exceptional bar spaces across the world. “Today, we raise a glass to those venues that go above and beyond, offer congratulations to the incredible teams whose hard work has earned their bar a spot on this prestigious list and hope it encourages more people to discover their next drinking destination,” Head of Content, Emma Sleight mentioned in an official statement. 20 bars from the USA dominated the list with Schmuck at the 59th position, True Laurel ranking 64, Attaboy at the 72nd, Martiny’s at 75, Cafe La Trova at 82, Mírate at the 92nd rank, Employees Only at 95 followed by Kumiko at 97 - to name a few.

The list also showcases 15 bars from Europe along with destinations such as Bangkok, Buenos Aires, London and Medellín. Find the full list of rankings below:
