Brown Derby
This basic bourbon cocktail has Prohibition-era roots, though its exact origin is debatable. It is made by adding bourbon, grapefruit juice, and honey syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake for 20 seconds with gusto. Pour it through a strainer into a stemmed, chilled cocktail glass. Place a slice of grapefruit on the glass's top.
Boulevardier
Boulevardier is the ideal beverage for a chilly winter evening. Its creation is attributed to American author Erskine Gwynne. Fill a mixing glass with 1 1/4 ounces of bourbon, 1 ounce Campari, and 1-ounce sweet vermouth. Add the ice cubes and stir to thoroughly chill the beverage. Pour into a glass and garnish with an orange twist.
Paradise Apple
To prepare this exquisite drink, you need four dried figs, 2 tbsp honey, 1/4 oz fig-infused honey syrup, 1/2 oz apple cider, 1/2 oz fresh lemon juice, 1 oz bourbon, 3/4 oz dry riesling, and 1/2 oz St-Germain Elderflower liqueur. In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, blend all the ingredients for 30 seconds. Pour it into a coupe glass and decorate it with slices of dried apple.
Kentucky Buck
Want a novel twist on bourbon, pick this one. In addition to bourbon, it also calls for freshly squeezed lemon, mashed strawberries, Angostura bitters, and hot ginger beer. Raspberries can be used in place of strawberries. Blend all ingredients in a shaker, then strain into a tall cocktail glass. Ginger ale is poured over the ice-filled beverage.
Paper Plane
Paper Plane tastes like the upmarket whiskey sour. For people who despise the alcoholic flavour of whiskey, it is the best beverage. The fruity and sweet amaro make it a treat to sip. To make this drink, you only need one ounce of bourbon, amaro nonino, Aperol, and freshly squeezed lemon juice.
