Goat’s milk kheer is a creamy Indian dessert made with rice, goat’s milk, sugar, and cardamom. It is prepared on Gandhi Jayanti as a simple satvik sweet as Gandhiji was known to advocate for goat’s milk.
1 litre goat’s milk ½ cup rice (soaked) ½ cup sugar ½ tsp cardamom powder 2 tbsp chopped nuts
Boil goat’s milk and add soaked rice.
Cook on low flame until rice softens.
Stir in sugar and cardamom powder.
Garnish with nuts and serve warm.
