Amritsari paneer bhurji is a spicy, buttery North Indian dish made with crumbled paneer, onions, and green chillies. Bursting with Punjabi flavours, it pairs perfectly with parathas or toast for a hearty meal.
200g crumbled paneer 1 tbsp butter or ghee 1 finely chopped onion 2 chopped tomatoes 2 chopped green chillies 1 tsp ginger-garlic paste ½ tsp turmeric powder 1 tsp red chilli powder ½ tsp garam masala Salt to taste Fresh chopped coriander
Heat butter in a pan and sauté the onions until golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste and green chillies; cook till fragrant.
Add the tomatoes and cook until they are soft.
Mix in turmeric, red chilli powder, garam masala, and salt.
Add crumbled paneer and stir gently on low flame for 3-4 minutes.
Garnish with coriander and serve hot with parathas or pav.
