Bombay style club sandwich is a layered, flavourful snack made with vegetables, chutney, and cheese, often toasted to perfection. It is popular in Mumbai street food stalls.
6 slices bread (toasted or plain) ½ cup green chutney (mint and coriander) 1 boiled potato (sliced) 1 cucumber (sliced) 1 tomato (sliced) 1 onion (sliced) ½ cup grated cheese Butter for spreading Salt and pepper to taste
Spread butter and green chutney on each bread slice.
Layer potato, cucumber, tomato, and onion slices, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle grated cheese and place another slice of bread. Repeat the layering for three tiers.
Slice into quarters and serve with ketchup or chutney.
