If you thought that you were done experimenting with corn, you are in for a surprise. This cheesy curry is a delicious accompaniment to herbed or steamed rice. Follow this guide to spruce up your weekday spreads.
2 cups boiled corn Salt to taste 1 cup milk 1 cheese slice ½ cup grated cheese ½ cup hot water 1 tbsp butter 1 tsp ginger, garlic 1 tsp oregano, peri peri mix 1 chopped green chilli ½ tsp chilli flakes 1 tsp maida 1 tbsp coriander leaves
Melt butter in a pan and saute green chilli, ginger, and garlic.
Add maida and gradually pour milk. Make sure there are no lumps.
Add the chilli powder and corn. Let the ingredients simmer for 5-6 minutes.
Once the gravy thickens, add cheese. Let it melt before adding powdered spices.
Sprinkle salt and keep simmering the gravy for a couple of minutes.
Sprinkle coriander leaves on the top and enjoy it with herbed rice.
