Besan chilla is the classic Indian snack that is made with chickpea flour, water, and spices, allowing you to add your favourite veggies. To make a high-protein snack or breakfast, try this besan chilla recipe.
1 cup besan 1/2 cup water 1/4 cup chopped onion 1/4 cup chopped green chillies 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder 1/4 teaspoon red chilli powder 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder Salt to taste Oil for greasing
Mix besan, chopped onion, chillies, water, and all the spices.
Once you get a consistent batter, heat a pan and grease it with oil.
Pour a ladleful of batter onto the pan, spreading it into a circle.
Cook till the chilla is golden brown on each side. Serve with a chutney.
