Rose kheer is a fragrant milk-based sweet flavoured with rose water and garnished with petals, offered to Maa Siddhidatri on Navami during Navratri 2025.
1 litre full cream milk ½ cup rice (soaked) ½ cup sugar 1 tsp rose water 2 tbsp dried rose petals 2 tbsp chopped nuts
Boil milk, add soaked rice, and cook until soft.
Stir in sugar and continue cooking until thickened.
Add rose water and dried petals, then mix well.
Garnish with nuts and serve warm or chilled as bhog.
