Chinese chilli sauce is what you need when you want to spruce up a meal. From sandwiches to khichdi, you can add it to any dish, and it would instantly add a depth of flavour. Try out this recipe.
2 tsp salt 15 chilli peppers 1.25 cups of oil 2 garlic cloves 2 tbsp soy sauce 1 cup Sichuan chilli flakes ½ tsp sugar
Roughly chop chilli peppers and pound them in a mortar and pestle.
Finely chop garlic and toss it in a bowl with chilli flakes, sugar, soy sauce, and salt.
Add the chopped chillies to the bowl.
Meanwhile, let the oil heat up.
Pour the oil over the chilli blend and mix the ingredients. Your spicy chilli sauce is ready.
